Boutiverre

Lac-Brome, Quebec

"Playing with fire, that's what I do, but with precision and dexterity!" Trained in the traditional techniques of glassmaking and with a diploma from the glass arts school, Espace Verre, glassblower Caroline Couture gives life to light fixtures and utilitarian designs for the table. Using an approach that revalues materials since she opened her studio in 2012, the artist exclusively uses recycled glass from nearby businesses to create her artsy items.
